Ken Marchetti joined Q-Tran in 2018 and is responsible for manufacturing, inventory and global supply chain, and logistics.
Ken has extensive industry experience in semiconductors, medical devices, aerospace, defense, contract manufacturing, and lighting.
Ken holds a B.S. in business administration and management from Western New England University, and an MBA from the University of New Haven.
From 2000 to 2013, Ken directed manufacturing and sales operations at semiconductor company TranSwitch Corp., and later co-founded TRAN Semiconductor LLC, which started operations by purchasing TranSwitch’s telecom product lines after the company filed for bankruptcy, with a mission of providing critical support to TranSwitch and Centillium legacy telecom customers through the end of the product life cycles.
Through his work in many different industries, Ken has learned how to apply general concepts to very specific and varied operational challenges. His goal every day is to improve the way Q-Tran buys, builds, and delivers its products in order to create a competitive edge in the market and to provide a rich work environment for its employees.
Ken lives in Wallingford, CT, with his wife of 39 years. He has two children and one granddaughter.
He is an actively performing jazz and blues drummer and also enjoys golfing, skiing, working on cars, and building things around the house.
